Ensemble Cornucopia
The Ensemble Cornucopia was founded 1999 by composers Georgios Sfyridis and Tim Florence to lead a fruitful interdisciplinary dialogue beyond rigid genre boundaries and to soften the borders between composers and musicians, notation and improvisation, word and music as well as concert and theater.

The Ensemble plays contemporary music from different countries and cultures of composition. Turkish art songs stand right beside minimal music, sound experiments close to modern orchestra compositions, conducted improvisations range from chinese culture to the european medieval period. The concerts of Ensemble Cornucopia also pay attention to a lush visual presentation.
